Apple Treats Dog Treat Recipe

4 cups wholewheat flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 small apple, grated 
1 1/3 cups of water

Combine all the ingredients, except the apple and water, into a large bowl. Add the greated apple into the mixture and then stir in the water until it begins to bind together. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead well. Roll out to about 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick. Score the dough into small treat-sized squares (about 1 inch). Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 325 F (160 C) for 1 hour.

These make a very popular treat for dogs!
