Scrummy Dog Biscuits

These crunchy dog biscuits are a firm favorite!

You will need:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup cornmeal
2/3 cup brewers' yeast
2/3 cup wheat germ
2 eggs
2 tsp garlic powder
3 chicken or beef bouillon (stock) cubes

Dissolve bouillon in 1 cup of boiling water. Allow to cool slightly. Mix all ingredients together until they come together like a dough.

Roll out to your desired thickness (approximately 1/8 - 1/4 inch) and cut into shapes with a cookie cutter, using extra flour to make the rolling out and cutting easier if necessary. Place onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees F.

Don't remove from the oven straight away! When the biscuits are finished baking, turn off the oven and leave them in for a while. They will harden and become cruncy, making them more interesting and enjoyable for your dog to eat.
